Lessons take place at our practice facility at Players Ridge Golf Club, featuring covered teaching bays, Bermuda grass tees and greens and a supportive learning environment. From one-on-one coaching to group clinics and playing lessons, I focus on fundamentals that create lasting improvement—built on trust, experience, and proven methods.

This championship, 18 hole Karl Litten design serves as our primary site for golf instruction, offering a professional environment for players of all levels. It features two covered teaching bays, bermuda grass tees and practice green, allowing for year-round lessons and practice, rain or shine. The golf bays are equipped to accommodate private and dual lessons comfortably.

We also offer limited instruction at our sister course, The Silos at Granada Farms, in Granite Falls. A beautiful 18 hole championship layout by renowned architect Tom Jackson in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Brett Miller – PGA Professional & Golf Educator

A PGA Member for over 30 years and proud Life Member, Brett brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and passion to the game of golf. Over the course of his career he has been in various capacities of golf course management, ownership and has worked golfs major events for the USGA, PGA and LIV Golf Tours. In the instruction arena he is the founder of PGA HOPE programs serving veterans in Asheville, NC; Johnson City, TN; and Statesville, NC, where he has used teaching the game as a tool for healing, connection, and growth.

Throughout his career, Brett has conducted countless lessons, clinics, and camps, earning multiple awards from the PGA and local communities in recognition of his impact and service. He continues his professional development through PGA continuing education in golf instruction and has gained invaluable insights by observing practice sessions by top Tour instructors while working with their players including recent major champions Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau.

Notably, he has served as an instructor to the U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Team and has volunteered in coaching capacities for collegiate golf programs. He holds a Master of Arts in Teaching and Education from Western Carolina University, where his graduate research focused on the anatomy of the golf swing and teaching methodology. His further certifications include Diversity (AHWD), PGA Coach - American Development Model (AMD) and PGA HOPE Adaptive training.

A native of Western North Carolina, Brett was a standout collegiate golfer at Western Carolina University. He was a three-time All-Southern Conference selection, inducted into the WCU Athletics Hall of Fame in 2001, and honored as part of the Southern Conference’s 100th Anniversary All-Time Golf Team in 2022—joining the ranks of greats such as Arnold Palmer of Wake Forest, Brad Faxon of Furman, and current PGA tour player and fellow Catamount J.T. Poston.
